The Wedding Made by Pintrest

It ended up being a day full of surprises for 25-year - old Amanda Roman, who was married and engaged in exactly the same day to 27-year - old Ryan Leak.

Leak planned the whole day in secret and organized a wedding ceremony strictly based on the thoughts his wife illustrated on her Pinterest accounts, to add to the unbelief.

For a year, Leak planned the wedding based on the more than 200 re-pins in Rowan's "My Dream Wedding Folder" on Pinterest. The social networking site enabled her to plan and organize her perfect ceremony through clipping pictures from various websites onto an online pin board.

For more than a year I needed to arrange to take calls in private and was forced to place locks on my telephone just in case she saw anything," Leak said, based on the Frisky.

Once the plans were set in motion, Leak convinced Rowan to fly to Miami with him and "help a buddy move."

Reluctantly, she tagged along and soon recognized that Leak's explanation was a disguise once he dropped to his knee and proposed to her outside of a hotel.

After saying yes, Leak led her to an area where her family members and friends were waiting. He even flew in her favorite hairstylist and makeup artist.

"We had around 100 guests and apparently over 1000 individuals understood what I was planning so it's pretty incredible she didn't find out," Leak said.

Friends eventually turned the whole spectacle into a documentary and published it on YouTube.

"The day was even better than how I would have planned it," Rowan said, according to CNN. "Realistically I never thought that I would be able to pull off some of the things I noticed on Pinterest, but Ryan is really a risk-taker and he didn't settle for my watered-down variation of my 'dream wedding' -- he went for the gusto."
